About the world cup in Zolder

For fans of the blog and people who are interested in the sport of bmx, last weekend were held in Heusden-Zolder (belgium) rounds 2-3 of the Bmx world cup. This competition presents a new format with respect to the last year in which it competes the two days (Saturday and Sunday) and does not need to do Time Trial. This year consists of 2 qualifying rounds called Round 1 and Last Chance, in which from there you start to compete the 1/32 final (where the first 4 pass to the next round.) So in succession until the best runners in the world They reach the grand final.It competes in the Olympic format, from an 8 meter exit ramp.You can only register in the competition if you belong to the national team of your country.

Alejandro Alcojor the athlete mentioned in other posts, belonging to the Spanish national team was there as the only Spanish male representative, where he managed to perform good laps. He spent both days qualifying in the Round 1, qualifying to 1/32 of the end where after several hooks with other runners could not keep advancing. The improvement over last year is abysmal
